Email Alerts are emailed to all Clients for several different, but equally important reasons. The email alerts were started when Mr. Trusskey was very uneasy about the future of the markets and the volatility that he believed was to come, during the financial crisis in the fall of 2008.

The email alerts go out whenever there is a strong concern about the future of investment market trading, so that clients have the opportunity to move out of the trading portfolio to money market funds to reduce possible losses. The email alerts go out whenever the TIA Managed Portfolio is down more than 10% for year. Either these email alerts continue to go out until the portfolio gains to losses of less than 10%, or all clients are in money market funds. The purpose of these emails is to keep clients abreast of losses so that they can have Mr. Trusskey move them to money market funds if they cannot sleep at night and/or sustain more losses.

Generally speaking, retired clients really like this service because they cannot afford large losses, because they are not working and do not have time to rebuild their assets. They also like this service because most people do not know what their portfolio has done until two to three weeks after the end of the quarter and by then, it can be too late. Unfortunately, many Americans realized that in mid January of 2009.
