Mr. Trusskey has held many professional financial service and life insurance designations. In addition to being a Registered Investment Advisor, he has held a Series 7 & 63 Securities Brokers License, a Series 24 Securities Principal License, a Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser License and a Texas Group 1 Life & Health Insurance License. After his government service from 1975-1981, Mr. Trusskey sold farm tractors and heavy equipment in Colorado Springs, CO until moving to Texas in 1987. In Texas he was trained and worked in the metal and weld inspection business (NDE/NDI). During his years as a Non-Destructive Inspector, he contracted with General Electric Nuclear Inspection, Ebasco Nuclear Inspection Services and other various companies. While working with these companies, he traveled extensively to nuclear power plants and assisted with the turn around inspections of nuclear reactors and their cooling water component systems.

Matt was married in 1989 while working and traveling in the nuclear inspection business. Soon after, he settled down to the Houston area as an oil refinery inspector. Late in 1992, Matt decided to leave inspection business to pursue the dream of owning his own company.

In 1992 he obtained the Series 7 & 63 brokers licenses and began to build a business managing money. In 2000 he obtained his Registered Investment Advisor designation and began to convert this business over to a money management business; "Trusskey Investment Advisors." As of the end of 2003, this conversion was complete.

In 2001 Matt and his wife Pam moved to April Sound Country Club and Resort on Lake Conroe, near Conroe, Texas. Approaching midlife now, this move was not only to eliminate the commute to his office in the city, but also to move into a home office environment to further accommodate long working hours and after hours market analysis in the evenings. This worked out for the best! Matt now works in a comfortable home office and his clients can reach him at their convenience vs. only during office hours!

As of 2004, Mr. Trusskey is a published poet with the release of his first book, "Time Spent". Matt continues to work on "Less Time", book 2 of a personal trilogy on his life and times!
