Q: Will TIA (Trusskey Investment Advisors) manage my account at Fidelity Mutual Funds?
A: I'm sorry, but account managing complexities such as trading
restrictions, trading times and holding periods are not conducive
or cost effective for the client or TIA.
Rydex Mutual Funds
is set up for the professional money manager and client assets must
reside at Rydex Mutual Funds for Mr. Trusskey to manage them.
Q: Who is the custodian of my money?
A: "Rydex Mutual Funds" for non-qualified accounts and the "Rydex
Series Trust" for qualified accounts such as IRA's, Rollover IRA's.
Click on the "Client Account Access" tab to the left and visit the
Rydex Mutual Fund web site!
Security Benefit buys Rydex...This dateline was posted on the Rydex Funds Site. - TOPEKA, Kansas, and ROCKVILLE, Maryland, June 28, 2007 – Security Benefit today announced the signing of a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Rydex Investments, a Maryland-based investment management company that is a leader in bringing institutional-style investment products to the retail market. The combined organization is expected to represent roughly $35 billion in assets under management, and $52 billion of assets under administration at closing.
Q: What if I already have a Rydex Mutual Fund account?
A: If you already have an account established at Rydex Mutual Funds
and would like Mr. Trusskey to handle the management of it,
please contact TIA at your earliest convenience.
Q: What are the "fees" associated with Matt Trusskey's money/asset
management and what do you mean when you
advertise "1% or Less"?
A: Our fees are less than 1% per year once your account balance exceeds
$250,000.00. Multiple family accounts will be combined in
determining your overall account size.
|
| |
The fees are as follows and are assessed
at the end of each calendar quarter.
Account Size......................Annual Fee Rate

Q: What are your account minimums?
A: Although Rydex has established account minimums at $25,000.00,
TIA (Trusskey Investment Advisors) is a registered investment advisory
firm and as a professional
money manager, this minimum does not apply to our clients.
Q: What Rydex "no-load" mutual funds does Mr. Trusskey invest in?
A: Matt may utilize any of the "I - Investor Class" (or) "H - Hybrid
Class" Rydex Mutual Funds to manage your money.
Q: Does Rydex offer any other share classes?
A: Yes! Investors must be careful these days. To stay competative
with the retail brokerage and internet platforms,
most traditional
"no-load" companies have added classes of shares which have various
"sales charges" and "12b-1 fees". This is how the stock brokers of the
world can sell clients a "hot" mutual fund from a so-called "no-load"
mutual fund company.
Unfortunately, thats where their management, of your money, ends!
At TIA, we must continually monitor and manage your money to continue making
our living. Mr. Trusskey is in the business of managing money for a fee,
not selling mutual funds for a commission!
Traditional brokerage firms and
stockbrokers make their money the day they sell you the mutual fund
and it does not matter if it is a "front" or "rear" loaded fund. If you
sell your fund shares the next day, they still make their full commission and you receive the remainder.
Q: How do I proceed from here if I want TIA to help me?
A: You can either: Open a Rydex Mutual Fund account on line and then
contact Mr. Trusskey.
Or
You can contact Matt and he will ready the paperwork for your signature.
Contacting TIA to do the paperwork is recommended for Rollovers,
IRA's or any
qualified accounts because there are custodian to custodian transfer
papers or qualified plan rollover distribution papers that must be
completed correctly and then mailed to the proper person for release.
TIA will navigate and monitor the process for you.
Q: What happens to my account is something happens to Mr. Trusskey?
A: There is always the chance that Mr. Trusskey could have a premature death. There are provisions in place to have all assets moved to money market funds if Mr. Trusskey was in a trade at the time of death or incapacitation. There will also be a letter sent out to each client informing them of the death or incapacitation with instructions to find another advisor. Mr. Trusskey is in excellent health at 50 years young and since he owns the company, he will manage the portfolio for many years to come! Mr. Trusskey states, "God willing and the creek does not rise, I will be at this for at least another 20 years!"
These are the most frequently asked questions, but if you have another one, please email Matt
from the "Contact Us" tab on the upper left side of this web page!
